DTE APPOINTS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

Leading engineered wood products manufacturer, Donaldson Timber Engineering Ltd (DTE) has appointed Jonathan Fellingham as Managing Director, with effect from 1 December 2009.

Well known and highly respected in the industry, Jonathan has nearly 20 years of experience. His vast knowledge of the timber industry comes from working with a wide range of timber products and in a variety of roles, including management, sales, and roof truss design and manufacture.

Most recently, Jonathan has been working as Operations Director for DTE, since joining the company in May 2009.

Commenting on his new position, Jonathan said:

“I am thrilled to have been appointed Managing Director of DTE, and feel honoured to have been given this opportunity, given the proud history of the company. I’m very much looking forward to the challenge ahead of me.”

He continues:

“It’s certainly an exciting time for the company; we’re making lots of fundamental changes to the business: recruiting new employees; developing our product portfolio, and hopefully driving the industry forward into the next decade. “

For the past year, Chairman and Chief Executive of James Donaldson & Sons Ltd, Neil Donaldson has been managing DTE. Following Jonathan’s appointment, Neil plans to refocus his attention to his James Donaldson & Sons Group commitments.
